It can be does via making ones own track, but it is not easy. Handbuilt points are easier to make then diamond crossings are.
But I do advize to try to use short but straight diamond crossings on partial curves as a way around it if one has the room.
One possible option is to get suitable angled diamond crossings and cut them to shorten them and solder new curved track directly onto them. It may not seem ideal but it is a lot easier then making ones own track and maybe more ideal for beginners, though I would try and get secondhand crossings to experiment with as track is not cheap.

The layout is interesting, and there’s something similar in the latest Hornby track plans book. That might be worth a look.
