Find that a bit insulting. Not most but some.
Totally agree Brian, had one bad incident out of many many purchases.
Same here. Had one item never arrived and got full refund.

i have been buying on ebay for 30 years. Never had anything badly wrapped, or damaged in transit. I have always found sellers, helpful and keen to ensure a safe trip. Surely it is in their interest to ensure safe transport to get paid. I think Sandy has had a good outcome.

Yes I agree with you I to have been using ebay since it started back in the days when you paid by cheque and waited for them to clear before they were posted. This is the second only time I have received anything damaged. the other one was damaged by the post office who returned it to the seller. So Ebay sellers do well most of the time.

I have been using Ebay since it started. I could not care less if it was 1999 or when ever it was. It was long time ago. I mainly use it for buying things for my Model railway.

Does the actual date matter. I’ve used it for years but not so much recently, not sure why. Very useful for those hard to find bits and pieces, long may it continue.

Yes I have had one or two items from Gumtree. I bought an Flying Scotsman Train set once very cheap like new it was. Trouble with Gum Tree is finding things in your neck of the woods..
