yup, welcome Nickk. only thing i would say at this stage, is you will need a lot of patience with your TT orders . If you order one of the 2 sets, on offer, and some track packs, you will be able to make a start, but Hornby are notorious for delay on pre orders. You will , however be able to make a baseboard, and do some planning. Its a great scale due to its size. I have been running Triang TT, for some time, and their catalogue does make exciting reading. As you will see from above posts, you can use Peco flexi track, for your long runs, so there is another supplier to look at. good luck.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Whatever I decide I will be using peco flexi as dad and I always did some 55 years ago
