Re: Photo Plank
Great idea Brian. In the past I have used an old piece of mounted backscene from a broken down layout and a spare piece of track to take photos of locos I was selling on the bay, but nothing so sophisticated as yours.

Re: Photo Plank
Some years ago I made a photo plank out of a couple of bits of planking I had lying about.
I painted it blue with a tunnel entrance at one end and planned to fit a backscene which I never did until now.
The backscene does not cover all of the back but is mounted on a separate board and is removable so I can change it if I want to.
Before.
And after
Loco is Pennsylvania RR K4s pacific.
Regards, Colin.

Re: Photo Plank
Brian, good morning, why is it called a Plank. Plank to me is a long length of wood. Tis more of an offcut. I have a oo one for transporting Beyer Garratt, as far too long to hold, and a small one for moving N gauge Brighton Belle. mine have track and are painted, but no pretty back drop. Yours looks good.

Good morning John. Guess it’s easier than saying Photo piece of offcut wood
