Great shame. They were useful source for used 3 rail. Very knowledgeable staff, and good customer services. Feel sorry for employees.

i just googled `compliance costs` cos i didn`t know what i really was . it just boggles the mind

I too wonder if other retailers will follow. Models are certainly becoming more expensive - is it due to modellers asking for increasing levels of detail? Perhaps producing more basic models that run well and leaving modellers to add the details if they so wish is the way to go. For example, how difficult is it to add a coal load to a tender? Surely as modellers we can do this ourselves and get pleasure in doing so. Just a thought.

I purchased some digital solenoid point motors - when I made the purchase there were 1052 in stock, 10 min later they were out of stock, so things are selling fast at the right price!
