Thank you for all your replies. John, I am also from the era that you had to do some searching but I was fetch up with model aircraft and this is a new adventure and the start of a new hobby, So that is why I asked the question about the motor / gears

With Mashima ceasing production the availability of motors has dropped noticeably. Probably best to see what is the largest available motor that will fit the space - try Roxey Mouldings http://www.roxeymouldings.co.uk/categor ... and-gears/
