Get Santa to deliver it through the chimney ;) :mrgreen:
He managed to get my bike down when I was 10 so should be no problem with the intervening years giving him much more experience.

I second the suggestion of a small fire extinguisher, if the worst happens you will probably have only one way out - and the fire may not be in the loft, but you will still have to get past/through it to get out...
