Thanks - it gives me an excuse to run locos that wouldn't normally be seen on a secondary route like Lostock Junction.

Great stuff. I'm very impressed by the sense of space that you have created in many of your photos, especially the third photo in Post 109.

Thanks for your kind words.
The photos are taken on my mobile phone and then cropped to eliminate views of the room beyond the layout.

Bank Holiday (5).
With the work on the West Coast Main Line completed, the engineers train cranes are returned to their bases.
The train is seen behind a Stanier 8F
After the rear half has been uncoupled, the loco draws forward with one crane and carrier truck, together with a crew and stores coach.
which it then reverses back into the loco shed area.
After coupling back up to the other crane, carrier truck and guards van she continues on her way to return those to their base.
Passing through the station on the Up Main line.

A tank loco has emerged from the loco shed an buffered up to the carrier truck
before shunting the ensemble to the end of the shed headshunt.

Thanks Glencain.
It's nice to get the opportunity to give some of the lesser used locos and stock a run.
Dad had loads of different items that he ran on a club layout.
