I did try taking it out but can’t find it now. When I do I’ll try the drop test.

I had my heart stress MRI yesterday - took about an hour. I was a little apprehensive, but it was all very straightforward with no problems. I won't get the results for a while, but hopefully all ok. Life goes on as usual.
I have just received the letter with my follow-up appointment following my MRI on Tueday -
22nd December 2021!!!. I'm not sure how to interpret this - nothing to worry about, I haven't got long to go or it's a typo. Email has been sent.

22 DEC is a Tuesday this year and a Wednesday next year. My son only goes once a year for his heart valve check. Obviously your test was OK.

I find that when I have any tests and the results are slow to arrive - everything is okay. If the results are not good they are quick to tell me.

I agree, it suggests they’re not unduly concerned.
My blood tests came back as ‘normal, and within acceptable parameters’ the good news being my cholesterol, which was around 5.9 a few years ago, but is now down to 4 - happy with that.
I also have a date for my echocardiogram, 12 February. At least mine is this year.

Thats a good start steve. Puts your mind to rest a bit. Thats fairly fast for your next test. Not too long to wait. .

......... your test was OK.
You’d think they would say though if only to put your mind at rest.

Enveloped dropped through the letter box the other inviting me to send a sample for bowel cancer testing - as usual I thought what a lot of crap ( if you pardon the pun)......... in the car yesterday and listening to a radio program when a lady called in to say that that a couple of years ago she was perfectly healthy, but submitted a sample and was found to have bowel cancer which has now been successfully treated because it was detected early..... now I am a great believer in fate and so now that I have heard that story, of course I am going to have to take that test - now where did I put my marigolds ?

I get that envelope every couple of years. I think it continues like that until your seventy four, after that you have to ask for it. They have now changed the format for sending the sample - only one, not three - much easier to deal with!
