Happy Christmas to you too Brian - I hope you have a good one. I was more concerned that a package from Hornby might also turn up, but that will now be after Christmas. Barry

I like that. David Shepherds loco. I sheltered from the rain in that at York and David Shepherd was in it. He told us he was in a pit under the loco doing some lubricating when two pairs of Hush Puppy suede shoes appeared along side. The person in one pair said it was disgusting that Shepherd had named the loco and it shouldn’t be allowed. He said he squirted oil across the shoes and shouted its my b&##£y loco and I can do what I like.

It's nice to have friends  Did you get much at Wonder Works? Very surprised the Stay-alives were not available.
I was more concerned that the Black 5 might also turn up, but luckily Hornby's credit card system is on the blink again, and it would not accept my card details, although it has done twice in the last month - very strange. I rang customer services this morning a couple of minutes after nine and was second in the queue, and got answered very quickly - it sounded manic in the background.

It was one of the reasons I bought it Brian - plus the fact that TMC were selling them at half-price - I'm not sure how some of these companies remain in business.

Not a sausage! (A topical comment as I've just finished making the pork and black pudding sausage rolls for tomorrow).
I'll email you for a natter later.
