I’ve just been stuffing small boxes with bamboo cane for SWMBO. I don’t mean they are for her to live in, she wanted me to chop up the canes. Doesn’t half take a lot to fill a small space. .

Already filled two sheds and a double garage. I think what I really need is a bigger house.........or a number of skips.

I believe it is the wash that transforms them. I have only just discovered it and am adding it to my previously unwashed figures.

Washes are the modelling equivalent of witchcraft and sorcery. :D
I used a different black wash from Vallejo on these - imho they are a bit dark - followed by a very dry brush of white then a coat of Matt antishine.
I’ve just finished a batch of mechanics so they will get the same treatment later today.

Mechanics completed, although the varnish still newscast to set properly. I got this download from ModelU yesterday and printed them overnight.
