I remember you were making some sheep and cows ( or as we say in Scotland Coos & Ewes) in your printer. Are you selling them Steve.

Busy day in the shed today - the latest offering from Hornby, the Ivatt 2MT in BR green as preserved on the K&WVR, arrived yesterday. Basic detailing completed today and I’ve equipped this one with another of the new Bluetooth TXS decoders. A very tight fit to get the decoder, speaker and stay alive in the very shallow tender.

Lovely pipe detail Steve. I would have definitely purchased one of those.

There are some lovely details on this one Brian. Barry and I were chatting with Phil Morley, the Hornby designer, at GETS in October. He said he designed this one five years ago - it even came in the old style box! No idea why it took so long to get to market but you can tell it as not designed with TXS in mind - very limited space.

Is it a trick of the light but the lining looks a bit yellow instead of orange.

The lining is certainly very shiny - it almost looks like a transfer from some angles. It is a bit on the light side as well.

I was comparing it to the preserved loco and some lining transfers I still have.
