That picture is the revised version - the original took 40mins snipping!
Designing and building these is quite the process with lots of test prints needed to home in on the final result.
I had another 'half roof' come out of the printer this afternoon with a kink in the side panels - you guessed it, no supports! It took all of five minutes to correct (hopefully) and another six hours to reprint.
Gives me plenty of time for an afternoon nap. :D

Although I have reduced the kink, it's not gone completely - now testing the response of the customer service dept at Creality. :o
In the meantime I have thrown together some of the spare parts to see how it comes together. Surgery needed to fit around the gable (that can be refined in the software) and a makeshift roof from plastic and.

I stand by my original comment.

You set a consistently high bench mark. :D

Thank you for the comments chaps. I choose my camera angles carefully to avoid the gnarly bits - there are many. :?
I know it can be a lot better, but that's the whole point of prototyping. I may go back to the start with the awning to remove some of the mistakes - mainly in aligning multiple sections and not getting them straight. And now I can place it against the station building l can actually measure some parts to get the joint cleaner.
Gives me something to tinker with while I wait for a response from Creality. ;)

On a different, yet related matter, I called in at Halfords to get a rattle can of off-white acrylic (I've used Ford-ivory white in the past). Surprised to learn that they no longer sell those car paints!
Now need to find a Vallejo stockist nearby so I can find something similar to LMS cream in their range.

Halfords - oh dear, not good news, will need to stock up from my local branch before they disappear.

I guess the market for car paints has decreased now that cars don't rust like they used to.
Another factor is probably the move to water based paints.
I believe that B&Q no longer sell any oil based paint.
