Back to railways after a short Lego interlude. Popped down to Margate on Friday for the latest clearance sale at the WonderWorks.
Picked up a rebuilt W1 in BR green. The electrical conduit that runs the length of the running plate had fallen off in the box - simple but relatively fiddly fix. Reduced to less than half price with the club discount. Used my reward points from pre-orders to pay for a decoder and a couple of stay alives. Paid cash for a rather nice sausage roll from their cafe.

Nah, the collection is focussed on northern locos. Although I do have a handful of GWR and SR locos before I realised the error of my ways. They now live in the bottom drawers of the storage cabinet - let's just say there's no danger that the paint will fade in the sunlight.😉
When (if) I scale back, they will be the first to go.
