I have found it best to creep up on a model when doing lining before it notices and throws a hissy fit.

This colour thing is very personal as people see colours in diferent shades to others.What is dark green to some may be brown to others. I don't thing any body sees colours the same. I don't think the hornby red is browny red at all it looks dark red to me, but not perhaps to others.

Lining is so well done. Wish I could do that.
When I tried lining it always looks a mess.

Sandy, the trick is gentle manipulation of the transfers with a moist paintbrush and a bamboo skewer.
Progress so far - the owner has been asked for comment before I commit to varnish.

The owner told me he was thinking of having you respray it in green

Think he is colour blind so the colour won’t matter.

I did suggest going back to pink primer earlier.
