Thank you Hound Dog for your comments.
I fixed the walling to a length of ply wood and I just stood it in place for the photos. I am going to add some wall lighting to to it so I need to do some wiring behind it, l can then test that all the lights are working an add some grass and moss before it is finally fixed in place.
It does not take me long to do five minutes work.

Thank you gents for your comments.
I made up a little jig to mass produce the railings that are fixed to the coping stones on top of the retaining wall, I managed to drop a few completed lengths and then trod on them. More railings and glue on order.

Jigs are a must for any mass produced item always worth the time taken to make

I Read in a post a few weeks back that stuck in my memory which is not that good because I can’t remember where it was posted or which person had posted it. The comment stated that some of the things that look ok on your layout sometimes show up to be wrong or out of line in a photo. With that in mind I now take pics as I go along.
This picture shows the top railing on the right of the signal box is way out of line, high on the left post and low on the right. It looked fine when I fixed it on and hard to notice on the layout but now I have seen it in the pic i will get the railing adjusted and thanks to whoever it was for the good bit of advice.

I think that comment is on page 18 of my layout 'Steam Trains to Sovereign Street'. I made a glaring mistake only showing in a photograph.
I now have to check my photographs. I hope I do not miss anything
