Sorry to be ultra dim Rog but please explain how I can make a website address clickable, in idiot language. What is the link icon above this box for?

Not sure how it works yet. Still working things out myself.

Edit to add:-
Website address. Try just posting the address into the reply box without using any code of any sort. Then click on Preview to see what happens. If it doesn't work, try highlighting the website address and click the link icon. Again, use the preview button to see what happens. You can keep trying and previewing to try different things until you are happy then click on submit if you want to publish to the forum.

Oki doki. I just want to make it clickable, not create a link. I’ve been playing with the link icon but doesn’t seem to do anything useful.

There are two ways to post a link

1. You can select the icon in the reply box that looks like a pair of handcuffs and just place your url in between the square brackets - you get this https://cpc.farnell.com

2. You can follow Rog(RJ) method and you get this CPC

Both are acceptable.

EDIT. This was a test and it worked. On preview it didn’t look right but once submitted all was well. Thank you.

I’ll give the hyperlink a miss.

You're all saying it's great to be back, but personally it caused me a lot of pain.

I'm only just back from the Betty Ford Clinic for recovering MRF Addicts :(
Amazed at how many others I met in there recovering from the same thing.

I get back only to find you've gone and got it up and running again! Oh well, here we go again

Well done to all concerned.

Welcome back Mr B.
No doubt WTD can send his nurse over to administer any medication needed? But I've found visiting the forum at least twice a day or preferably more frequently is a tonic in itself. :o
