If you look at the company info it states Charlie Petty a name well respected in the sound decoder world. I would have no problem ordering from there on that basis alone.

Also worth noting that many items state ‘credit card sales only’ and that automatically gives buyer protection via the card company.

I thought I recognised the dc kits name but couldn't remember who was associated with it.

Well I have taken the plunge and ordered the loco! This particular loco seems to be a bit of a rarity now. I jut hope it arrives when my wife is out!
