Same on my iPad. I get ads and clips. Since coming back on line, many of the pictures posted don’t open up - just left with a blue screen.

Pop ups and adverts are the biggest turn off online. It seems the worst offenders are local newspapers, sky sports and sky news.
They make their sites virtually unusable.
RMWeb is no better.

It’s back and working fine from desktop, no pop up’s, or even popcorn.

I use the Opera browser and it automatically takes care of pop-ups and adverts. It also has a built in VPN that you can easily switch on/off in the task bar (after you enable it in settings) which gives you even more privacy.
