Yes that is exactly the way I view it Steve. The way I see it is nothing has a value. We lost that the day when the law stopping Retail price maintenance. In the days of retail price maintenance the price was set by the manufacture I think and retailer was required to sell for the price which was often printed on the box by the manufacture. But now life is confused by the fact that you can find the same product for a range of prices for the same product. Last night I was looking up the price of oil level indicator on my heating oil tank. I found one for £59 pounds from a respected supplier. Then another one same packing everything for £200 on E-bay. Sometimes I think that the old days of retail price maintenance were better. At least you knew where you were with values. Nothing has a value these days . I find that confusing and the older I get the more confused I get.
