Those are a nice light for new fitting, but they not a direct replacement for a standard florescent tube.
I simply replaced my 5ft kitchen fluorescent tubes with this type - a relatively simple swap. You can also buy replacement LED tubes (plus replacement starter) for your existing fitting, but I like these new ones as they fit flush to the ceiling.

The LED batten lights are in the shed, very impressed with the improved lighting on the layouts. Not bad for a litle over forty quid. :D

I have tried several LED batten/strip lights and found that some cheaper ones were as flimsy as baking foil (delivered mangled up). The ones that I really liked were these High Lumen 5ft LED Ceiling Strip much more substantial, easy to fit and in my view good value.

Have 6 in the Train Shed
