When I met him last year he did not resemble an octopus.

He’s very clever at disguising his other arms.

Only two arms like everyone else.
I have to tell you it took a number of "takes" before I got it right. I had points the wrong way, hitting buttons on the Elite and the loco suddenly went into reverse. I'll now get back to "normal" railway modelling. Barry

I've sent off for a couple of packs of these lights for fitting to coaches - they have an inbuilt decoder, which allows lights to be turned off/on by using the functions keys, and also a variation in the coach lighting. Not the cheapest option around - but you can't take it with you! I'll let you know how I get on.

I should have added that the Keymodelworld site is a free site to subscribers of Hornby Magazine. It has the articles from the magazine, but as illustrated above, a little more detail by way of videos, than can be shown in the magazine. To register access to the site you will need your "Customer Number" which can be obtained from Key Publishing or it is printed on the bag that your Hornby Magazine comes in.

A picture rarely seen - the front entrance of Wykeham Station. Although "HO", Woodland Scenics do a pack of people described as " Taking the Stairs" - so their feet are in the right position for going up and down steps/stairs. I don't think they look out of place being "HO" - people do vary in size!

Looks great Barry. The figures aren’t as skinny as usual HO versions.

You have to be a bit careful Brian - being American - they tend to be either "hillbillies" or look like "The Village People"! They do though, have some nice situations - people waving goodbye(?) - people walking etc. They have a good selection at The Model Centre - I need some more. As I have enough loco's, I am trying to get more "detail" onto the layout. Barry

They look perfect for the location Barry.
Take a look at some of the 3D printed figures - some are now producing ‘civilians’ as well as railway workers. I think Hardy’s Hobbies May do them as bulk packs which, as you know, makes them quite competitively priced.

I was looking at the Hardy's Hobbies site yesterday Steve - as you say they have a very good varied selection. They have a signalman handing over the "token" for single track running - I have a plan! Barry
