Spot on Brian. Seen it several times.

Here’s one for the ship guys. A hobby in Cyprus was driving round the coast spotting the newest arrival.

Interestingly they flew it in, and then developed the airport into a Nissan car factory.

Just a coaster that had engine trouble and the prevailing winds pushed it onto the rocks. The place was littered with them. They even made one into a night club off Coral Bay.

I didn’t realise that was a problem around Cyprus.

I was just browsing and saw this posting. When I was younger, lunchtime at the Grammar school I went to, became school dinners or home only. We found a nice spot at Latchford locks to hide away with our fish and chips from the nearby chippie and just that bit too far for the miserable teacher who would report us, as he had no transport, We had our bikes. More often than not, we would be there long enough to see a Manchester Liners Ship in the locks. Several years later I had the job of taking my father in law back to his ship, in dry dock Birkenhead. He was a bosun and the ship was called Falaba. I had never realised how big a ship was out of water. :)

Some days/nights a picture has to be taken.

On the (late night) 5th of July 22 I saw a ship in the distance. I tracked it on 'Shiptracker'.

Virgin Cruises 'Valiant Lady' heading west.

Whilst in Gibraltar 12th July 22 a picture of Princess Cruises 'Enchanted Princess' from 'The Rock'.

P&O cruise ship 'Arcadia' has stopped cruising and has only a 'skeleton' crew aboard. Her time is now spent anchored of the south coast of England; except to call into Southampton occassionally.
First of July 22 was one of those times.
