I like it. Are you going to add more growth and maybe add some darker patches into areas of the ballast? (I realize it is a work in progress and excellent work it is too).
I really like the way your layout is built on two or more levels. It looks convincing and real.

Yes MG, a work in progress. All those other goodies to come in time.
