It is. On our last cruise, the first day our steward said, "If we were not out of our cabin by 11.30am he would not make up the room. On sea days we like to be on the balcony. Therefore three days we had to make our own room up.

Back in 2016 - a long time ago now - we were allowed on board a Silver Seas cruise liner docked in Southampton. We had some American friends staying with us prior to taking the ship back home - it was going to Montreal and then the friends were flying down to their home in Florida. It was very luxurious on board - it was not a huge ship, but it had every amenity and more. We had to send our details to the USA before being allowed on board, and take our passports on the day. We did jokingly, look to see if there was a cabin free for the trip to Montreal, but it was £15K per person, to we decided not to go :o .

£15K eh! Looking at the cheaper end then?

Regent Seven Seas , one cruise line I have not been on, (yet). Seen a few of their ships on our travels.
Seven Seas Navigator was a regular to the Port of Tyne one year. A cruise from Southampton to Belfast calling at ports around U.K., 7 nights, from $18,999.

You have to bear in mind it is First Class all the way. Everything to do with being on a ship. Only other expenditure is buying from a shop on board.
Six star Luxury.

Will it be 'Third time lucky?'

Twice before I have tried to visit Northern Norway.
One time, every cruise we looked at was fully booked. Obviously not to be.
Then we managed to book a cruise and off we sailed. On arriving at Trondheim the Captain announced that the weather was too rough further north? He turned the ship south and we visited ports we had been to before.

Tomorrow will be 'third time I am not expecting to see many cruise ships, but it is a 'tick' of the bucket list, (hopefully).
