More pictures of Clarence Dock. The board is just under three feet long and six and half inches wide, (because of the door entrance.)

Maroon & Sons wagon full of genuine Northumbrian coal.
IMG_4166.JPG
The Prince of Wales coal wagon is a must have. Stories of the pit have been handed down in the family since the 1930s. The wagon is empty and needs some weight added. Some Northumbrian coal will be the answer.

The blue C. Burnley wagon has genuine Yorkshire coal added.

The rain has stopped. The ground is drying, but there are still wet patches and puddles.
The ground was 'painted' with clear varnish two or more times. The puddle is several coats of varnish then a piece of plastic over the top,

A final test run on the dock area as it is more or less finished.

The old coal wagons based in Scotland (Previous layout) come out of retirement. :)

Cheap!

If I or my grandchildren knock it and it breaks it is easily repaired. :)

Not many harbor scapes out their. Beautifully rendered. I can almost hear the gulls, smell the salt air, the rotting fish...
Seriously, looking at this thread is a real pleasure.
