The beauty of having a secondary line off the main line is I can run diverted train as and when I feel like it.

I hope you don't get any SPADS like at Salisbury recently (collision at junction) caused by all that vegetation doubtless dropping leaves on the line
Wonderful pictures as usual, thanks for posting

Thank you for your comments, fourtytwo. They are much appreciated.
As for any collisions? None (so far). There are very good signalmen working the Junction.
No SPADS allowed here.

Thank you, Carl L.
My Granddaughter and I put up some multi-coloured Christmas lights. She played around with the control getting different colours. Then she wanted the room lights off. "It's nighttime," she said.
Simple really.

Looks very good - lighting can make all the difference to a layout - and it does not need to be bright. I too like the signal box.

Thank you BB for your kind comments. I am not a favour of bright lights on a layout.
When I lived in Leeds, from the age of seven I went to Sovereign Street to travel to Dewsbury. The buildings were old and dark forboding ones, not helped by the dismal street lighting. Smoke from the chimneys added to the gloominess. It frightens me now thinking about it, the fact I wasn't frightened then.
Now Sovereign Street is up and coming to live. Bright lights with apartments, cafe's and restaurants. Not for me. No room to run trains.

The past few days I have been clearing unwanted scenery items etc. and either passing them on or discarding them altogether.
I then took some photographs of the layout.
Things are beginning to look tired and jaded. January jobs to do will be to spruce things up somewhat and bring a 'sparkle' to the proceedings.
Leeds Sovereign Street is on the list

As for around 'The Junction'? A Spring clean is ordered.
