Installing track over a long bridge

Why not have droppers running inside one of the pillars? Also think bolting the track down would work well.

I liked the nut & bolt idea when you first suggested it. But thought it may be bit fiddly putting all those nuts on.

O, is that all you would need for that sort of length Brian. I see, that sounds like easy way to do it. Makes seance. Probably less messing about than using adhesive as I did not my viaduct. ....................john

OK Brian your Nut and bolt idea now I am sure it was a wind up. I cant find any small enough except some tiny brass ones which were so expensive I think they were made of solid gold. I would stick to the adhesive I think.

I have lots of small nuts and bolts, got them from Maplins but available from ebay etc. Use them for attaching couplings to wagons.

These for instance, incredibly useful on a model railway.

Smallest I could find were 3 mm I was looking for something the size of a track pin,
OK I believe you but I still go with the adhesive
ideas. I stuck down my streamline on 6ft run of Hornby Viaducts with Evostick and it lasted for year until I took the layout apart we moved

Makes it easy to remove the track if necessary without destroying the bridge.
