The trouble with that is it leaves an outline of the building when removed for photography beyond it. It could be cloned out in an editing programme but that would involve more effort than I'm willing to do for images so I just have the natural ground cover continue where the building normally sits and ignore any gaps. Another of those compromises modellers have to continually choose.... :|

If you glue what ever you use to the building it comes away with the building.

A phone shot from 2023 I came across when looking for something else. It hadn't been edited so I don't think I've posted it up before. A HR 0-6-0 at Helmsdale shed adapted for snowplough duties. The gas tank for the restaurant car can be glimpsed at the right.
