Great news, let's hope your offer to Brian is sufficient for him to agree.

Well done Steve, just the sort of solution required. Remember you do not have to shoulder the burden yourself and if you need any help financial or other you only have to ask.

I am pleased to say the Steve (Stese) and I have agreed that he can take over the ownership of the forum. From when this will happen is still to be decided upon.
But for a short while, possibly a few hours, the forum will have to be taken offline while the transfer goes ahead.

A banner message about this will be placed on the forums Home page a few days before hand, to warn users of the move and asking all not to post after a certain cutoff date and time.

I think therefore there is no need for the poll anymore and this topic can be ended.

A small price to pay. Just glad that a satisfactory resolution has been found and MRF will continue as before. R-

Good to hear there is likely a viable way forward for the forum.
I am well aware that as time plods on one becomes less sure of how long we have left productively.
My own web pages will go when I do, and as I piggy back on one of the two domain names I own on behalf of our ex-apprentice group, I pick up the annual £85 domain name on-going registrations and hosting fees every other year as a gesture.

Great news that Stese has agreed to take on the forum and many thanks to Brian for running it for so long.
