You'll need a little man (or woman) to water them - they will need a hose - a bit of solid cor wire with about 5mm stripped off the end will look like the item Hozelock make - don't forget a bit of varnish underneath where the water leaks out onto the platform - just adding to the scene - I'm sure you've already thought of that?

I’ve not found the telegraph poles I need in my local modelshop but I have managed to get some more fencing put up between the coal yard and the mainline.
In the past I have used painted fishing line as wire but I wanted to try something else - three strands of copper wire twisted together for each stretcher gave me the texture I was after.

Looks very authentic - as though it's always been there. Are the fence posts Ratio/Peco?
