Gently broke it in. This gem runs so evenly, so smoothly, and so nice and slowly, and all the wheels from loco to tender
pick up so it falters not. If everything ran this good, I'd be a Hornby man for life.

i've aquired a Hilding Carlsson Yd railbus.

its in a bit of a sorry state, so i've pulled it apart, as it was stuck together with bostick which had gone soft. i'm going to strip the paint, prime and reassemble it.

the drive unit was a tenshodo spud which was too small so i'm designing a chassis and drive which i'll 3d print.

My latest acquisition is a limited edition O Gauge coal wagon made by Dapol it`s available from Footplate models in Kidderminster. Billingsley colliery was mine in Kinlet in Shropshire, a short distance from the Highley mining company, both were served by the GWR Severn Valley line.

I finally got this out of the box to put on the rolling road - it arrived a few weeks ago.

I've a few more to run in and some more on the way so thought I'd better get started. I'll share some of them, once they arrive and get out of their boxes.
It's also due to get a DCC chip.
