Love the lighting! Just as if the lamps are hanging from the ceiling. Nice one!
Cheers,

Thanks Barry. You always seem to go just that one step further.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Brian - it's that one step that makes it just right - but then again it could be that one step too far!

I've done that Barry. I wish I had left it as it was.

As an earlier post said, a real inspiration, I want so much to move on from ballasting (someone said it gets a bit tedious) and get to building construction. Keep the images coming.

Hi Carl - no need to rush it. I quite enjoyed the ballasting. It has taken me six years to get to where I am, and still someway to go - and Wykeham is only a 10' x 7' - so not big. BB

I enjoy ballasting, trouble is once I start I can’t stop.

Hello,
I use a thin card to make sleepers and when the rail is stuck on and the rail pins inserted I paint the whole lot with a gungy paint mix a sort of nasty grey colour and put the ballast on top of that. I use an old Resin W bottle dilute the glue about 70/30 add a few drops of Fairy liquid, get the nozzle in the right position to give a drop with the amount of squeeze I use. Works very well indeed.
Though I expect this has been said before, apologies if it had.
Cheers - Jim
PS Well yes it is boring
