Mass production may never happen, but a bespoke, hand built service may be considered - only one style of stonework, but you can have the doors any colour you like.

Added the final details today - doors, fasciae, guttering, drain pipes and glazing after completing the painting.
Quite pleased with the working hinges.
It will be off to its new owner once the glazing has completely dried.
Just realised that I still have to airbrush some soot above the doors - never finished.

I'm sure the new owner will be very pleased with that - first class job Steve.

Superb Steve. I see you boarded over the vent brickwork. Without doubt the best sheds I’ve seen.

I thought you would like that bit.

Looks great. Almost makes me want to start a small OO layout. Still got 3 locos.

I've had a break from modelling for a few days after complete shed but my mind was working on a solution for the signalbox for the MPD.
Any poor soul following my thread will know that space is limited and that I had been looking at a TMC over rail box. The one I found and ordered from France never turned up but I did get a full refund from PayPal - nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I had been looking at possibly using a Ratio kit as a base for a version based on the tall box at Haltwhistle and was about to order the kit when I stumbled on a Bachman 'tall box' on eBay. These have not been made for many years and very rarely appear on that site.
The seller had only put in a vague description, and selected a three day auction so few were aware of the listing and I was able to snap it up with just 10 seconds left for only £25.
Now that is a result!
I may have to change the routing of the point rodding but that's not too much of an issue as the replacement brass rods have yet to be delivered. Must chase the supplier at some point.

The tall signal box arrived today and although there was a small amount of damage (undeclared on the eBay listing), I’m not unhappy. A chip on the top of a drain pipe and a small break in the stair handrail - all easily repaired. Any way, I got it at a good price so no issues.
It’s a lot narrower than I expected but not quite enough to fit between the main and branch line as originally planned, so a rejig of the hidden branch line siding gives me space to fit it next to the bridge overlooking the entrance to the MPD.
I will have to route the point rodding differently, possibly even more prototypically
, but the warmer weather this week makes the shed a bit too toasty. Still waiting to be resupplied with the brass rod for the rodding by the way.
Also ordered laser cut name boards for the boxes - West Orton and West Orton Bridge.

I like that Steve. Looks the part and a bit unusual.
