To give more variation in operation the diesel yard at Crown Point has gone.
In its place will be a goods yard with a small diesel locomotive facility.

In real life what is now Crown Point Retail Park used to be leeds Hunslet Lane Station, then Hunslet Lane Goods Yard.
As mentioned, to give greater variation in train operating the diesel yard is now a Goods Yard.
The entrance to the yard.
The Goods Yard being tested for traffic.
Although not at the real goods yard, a small diesel refuelling facility is required for my large locomotive collection.
Now everything is tested for operation I have to find a bonding warehouse.
The layout is not a replica of Leeds Hunslet Lane Goods Yard, just a representative of it, thus the name Crown Point Goods Yard is given.

I like the "early" containers - great pictures as usual.

Container on the left in original Triang/Pedigree livery. I bought another two with the decals worse for wear. I removed the old decals and replaced them with 'Craigellachie'. A little different to the normal.

They used to load those containers onto the Scammell mechanical horse vehicles for door to door delivery.

When I lived and worked in Leeds I saw many of them daily.

"Craigellachie" - you wouldn't want to leave those wagons alone in the yard at night
