I only know Brian ...what Both of the Openreach Chaps told us when they were working in our house last year.. I assumed he knew who he worked for. He did not seem to like the way BT treated their customers now days. He did say the local exchange was way out dated and needed up dating to supply a proper service. They had reported the problem for long time with no results.

Open Reach are a BT owned company.. end.
OR Engineers are employed by a company called ... Yes you've guessed it. "Open Reach".
Open Reach is owned by BT PLC.

They also own half the worlds comms companies that most have never heard of one to my disgust is EE

Oh for heavens sake John you seem to think the whole world is against you. Cheer up old chap, lifes too short.

Went to a funeral this afternoon. Old friend of ours died 3 weeks ago. Age 65. Like I said, lifes too short.

Not going to look at this thread any more it’s depressing.

The thread seems to have lost its way, best leave it now chaps.
