I can just imagine Low Ghyll - one of Steve's A4's comes out of a tunnel sounding "tawhit tawhoo" - it's different?
A Dapol ‘tawny label’ maybe?

The weathered static locos have found a place in their own little corner of the yard.

Hatton’s newsletter had this new product on it today - ordered some to give it a try.

I think I mentioned this once before but I have decided to try fitting illuminated ground signals to the layout and link them to the existing LEDs in the mimic panels.
These arrived from China today - something to keep me busy.
I chose the N gauge versions which are only about 0.7mm high and come with red green or amber LEDs. Probably not very prototypical but small enough not to be an eyesore. I think I will have red/green for the straight ahead route with red/amber for crossovers and sidings ie proceed with caution.

True, but I reckon they are better in scale than the OO version they were offering.

Proof of concept for the ground signals. Having worked out where to put the bends in the LED leads I am now realising that I have run out of green wire.
