Today I've introduced a third method of uploading images to the forum... IMO this is the better and easier method as the image(s) are stored off the forum server and the image(s) URls are automatically placed in the forum text area.

I can’t make this work. Get as far as choosing photo, but it won’t drag. What am I doing wrong, john

There isn’t any dragging. Click on a picture, then click on the thumbnail then done top right.
