My next offering is a small running plank, which is a rectangular plinth measuring 300mm x 100mm.
The plank is to run my P Class locomotive back and forth. The Peco track has been fitted in place ready to weather up.
A peco buffer stop will be built and placed at one end of the track. I'm thinking of adding a narrow platform along one side of the track.
Ballast, static grass and other detailed railway items will be added to the plank as the build progresses.
I have added a picture of the work so far, more to follow..

Oak plinth has arrived and Peco SL OO gauge has been glued in place. Track weathering has begun, and next will be to build a small coal staithe using wooden coffee stirrers.

Hi I'm pleased with the track weathering and I paid particular attention trying to emulate old wooden sleepers.
I have added a picture of my progress. :D
