Woe is me. I placed my preorder with Hornby for the Centenary Pack, and their payment site kicks back my numerous attempts to pay and to process. I made numerous emails to them, but do not get a reply. I tried phoning them, but the overseas call won't go through.

What is the country code for the UK? Perhaps I can raise them by telephone.

Thank you, Sandy, I just attempted, without the O, again to no avail. Have sent Customer Service about a dozen emails, all I get is an auto generated reply. I supposed I could try the old way, of writing a letter, which will be next.

Nope, Verizon bounces the call. Will have to write a letter, which in the age of sail, might have taken four weeks to get there. Perhaps now it will arrive in three. I have bombarded them with emails, to which I only get an autogenerate response thanking me so much for my interest. Well, my interest won't pay their bills.

I even tried using an alternate email address, that didn't work any better, to reach the payment section of their web order form.

Upon further reflection, what UK stockist might I contact? Hornby seems to have shuttered itself.

Seem to have the full pack and just a coach pack in stock - if this is what you're looking for!
Also they ship world-wide including the USA with enhanced insurance.

I haven't used them, but looking at the sites from the UK a lot don't mention world-wide shipping, this one does.

Chops if you want me to try for you, let me know.
You should have me email address if not PM me on site.
I cannot find your email address in my contacts for some reason.

Thank you so much, after emailing their marketing director, I got a terse response from the formerly absent Sales Department, so will try to call them on Monday. If that fails, I will order from the stockist aforementiond. In fact, maybe I will and just save myself the aggravation. (Never mind that, they have it listed as "pre-order," whilst Hornby has it in stock. Will try to ring them up, Monday). :x

Not terribly often that first Gen, or Early Era OO pops up on the market. I have to have it. Damn the torpedos. The Hornby Rocket is a heirloom quality, so hopefully this will match it. Sam's Trains gave it a good review.
