Having a bit of a war in Aus 're the price of milk. It is almost as cheap as bottled water. Go figure!

It’s not a case of milk being as cheap as bottled water but bottled water being as dear as milk. 8-)

Just to point out there is manufacturing in the UK...i work for one... and we supply worldwide... but mainly to a large 'heavy plant' factory down the road... oh if you've ever been in a london style cab... you've probably used our product in the process.

if you want to feel better about buying models but can't find any not produced in places you don't like then at least buy from a local model shop...:)

I'm lucky I suppose in that I have a model shop about 20 minutes drive away. I do have to say that a recent and very noticeable drop in stock levels and range do make me wonder how long they will be there though. R-

Yes RogerB,,,,,,,,,, I think the internet is slowly closing down most of the retail trade. I expect in 50 years from now there will be Museum Shopping Centres where people will be able to see how life was Back at the turn of the century when folks used to buy shopping in shops and supermarkets. And we used to drive in Petrol cars. A bit like Beamish.
