Many thanks for the kind comments. It didn't say what make the wagons were in Rails offer - they are Dapol - except for the water tower, these are the first Dapol items on the layout. Best wishes to you all. Barry

I have now fitted the Ratio Signal Box Interior and added lighting. A few problems - the signal box came with the floor fitted, and I think the Ratio kit was intended for a "box" that had a little more interior room - so I had to reduce the height of a few items. I have another signal box to fit out sometime in the future, and it has no floor, so it should be possible to fit the Ratio kit to the floor and then raise the floor to the right height - not a problem, in fact should make the job easier. As I had mentioned previously, I lined out the signal box interior, including the roof with bacofoil - to stop light bleed - which it does very effectively - I positioned the light to shine up into the roof, which had had several coats of matt white paint - the led was then given a coat of Tamiya yellow lacquer. Now for some point rodding

Looking very good Barry.
Are you going to use the Ratio rodding kit?

Hi Steve - Yes - I already have it and the extention kit - looks pretty fiddly.

It is!

I found the there weren’t quite enough parts for what I wanted but I had some plasticard square strips the same dimensions as the square rods. I made extra lengths and drop links by flattening the und with a hammer then bending the squashed bit to the right angle. Can’t tell the difference once painted.
