I know I have a long list of things to do on the layout, but these days I just want to run trains.
A scene outside Roseville Station. Have they just arrived - or leaving?

Kirkstall and East Seacroft Railway locomotive 'Zephyrus' seen here at Roseville Station. She is on her way to National Filling Station at Barnbow with some of the morning staff. 'Zephyrus' was originally 'Percy' from the Thomas the Tank range. The grandchildren had outgrown T.T.T., so I convertred 'Percy' to a K.&.E.S.R locomotive.

Another early morning train. This time a Leeds Central to Wetherby train pauses at Leeds Sovereign Street Station, locomotive 'Scarcroft' in charge.

Grandson number 3 is here for a few days. He is taking me away from my other hobby of ships and shipping and back to railways.

With the grandchildren now older they are getting more involved in running trains. Therefore a third controller was purchased and the layout rewired. Controller 1 operates Clarence Dock and the lines to Roseville Station and just before Crown Point Yard. Controller 2 operates Leeds Sovereign Street and lines to Roseville Station and the line passing Crown Point Yard.
Controller 3 operates Crown Point Yard. Now whenever the grandchildren visit they can choose which area they wish to operate.
The layout can be operated by one, two or three people.
Looking at past history of Crown Point Yard originally it was a freight yard. Therefore when we run steam locomotives in the timeframe of the Great War, goods wagons are present.
