Vaguely reminds me being on parade and the First Sargent was so deeply in his cups he kept shouting out conflicting directives of right versus left until we were banging into one another in a frightful state of confusion as the a Company Commander, and his wife and fourteen (14) children were frozenly beaming down at us. Yes, that was the Army.
Wonderful photography.

From the Body language it looks like they are chatting about the local football team loosing again, rather subdued conversation I think.
Great scene and photography BB you really have a good eye for setting up these little cameos ,they do add that touch of realism to your railway. The servicemen arriving on the platform that you posted some time ago has stuck in my memory as being so realistic. In your scenarios your people definitely do talk to each other.

Barry's picture confirms the point that stationary figures should look stationary.

Good point about stationary figures, WTD. There is various "action" figures on the market here in Germany, including one of somebody running full tilt (I suppose to catch a train or bus or whatever) but frozen in mid-step. If anyone stood posed like that in real life, the boys in blue (or the nice chaps in the little yellow van) would be there in no time. Or people would start leaving coins, thinking he was imitating a statue.
Cheers,
Artur

I have fitted a Dapol Starter signal to the end of the branchline platform. I have yet to add power and wire it to the point motor. Also the sign is still to be fitted. It is very similar to the one at Swanage.
