Steam Trains to Sovereign Street.
Re: Steam Trains to Sovereign Street.
'Harwood is just starting its next turn of duty at Clarence Dock. The small platform behind was built for the Dock Yard workers; now the local people use it also, bringing extra revenue to the Company.

Thanks Chops.
Progress modelling the new street has been slow. The challenges of life intervening.
Part of the new street scene
J. Ladle & Son was a local store when I lived in Leeds. Doubt it is still there now.

Love that jetty. Perfect for a Medieval maid to toss the night bucket.

Great pictures as usual. The shop may still be there - when I was a kid (early 1950's), there was a barbers shop on the ground floor of the flats where we lived - in Muswell Hill, North London - it is still there today! Probably has had a change in staff

I'll try and see if the shop is still there, the next time I go to Leeds. I very rarely go there now as my 'Yorkshire based family' now live near Dewsbury.bulleidboy wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 10:18 am Great pictures as usual.
