All wired up - but no video yet. It is working perfectly with every throw of the points, except for one thing  - the lantern is not working - it was when I ran a battery across the wires - but not now. I may/must have blown the bulb. Despite Dapol saying use a 12v supply, I have found that 6v DC works fine.
I need to look again at the wiring on the fiddle yard exit signal - I thought I'd wired it up correctly, but the signal only operates on every other throw of the point. It really is a pain working under the boards and having to solder "uphill" - nothing like molten solder running down your arm

PS: Touched the wiring on the fiddle yard point motor and the signal is now operating as it should - loose connection

I can sympathize. My last layout had over 140 wires in just one area and I was having to solder many of them uphill having to quickly move my face out the way of dropping solder... My current layout project is portable so I can turn it on its side. Luxury!

I have fitted the "Trespassers will be prosecuted" sign. Not as crisp as I would have liked. I did as WTD suggested, found a picture and downsized it. The pack of Tiny Signs arrived, but did not have the required sign - also they appear to be "mini-photographs" - so if there is shadow over the sign when the picture was taken originally, it is depicted on the sheet - in general they are fine, but not what I was really looking for. I have not seen them, but as you can buy etched nameplates for loco's, I'm surprised there is not a market for etched signs - perhaps there is?
Still disappointed about the signal lantern - it may be replaced?

Thanks Brian - they have been "lounging" in the "people box" for sometime. They just happened to have green paint in their cans and on their brushes - not sure whether to paint some of the canopy facia with green paint - partially completed work? Barry

Yeah Go for it. :D Repainting in Southern green will set it off IMO.

Thanks Brian - You get these packs of "people" doing something - you then have to think how you can incorporate them onto the layout. Barry
