Fixed up all the backscenes now, not a job I would like to do to often. You have to be at least eight foot tall, ambidextrous with three arms and the patience of a saint. I used to think I was not to bad at wallpapering but this little job was not as easy as I thought it would be and I shall just have to live with the results.

Managed to get some lineside fencing fixed up today, I was going to make my own but cheated and purchased some.
Just need to put the railings onto the top of the retaining wall and maybe a few trees along the fencing and this section will not be to far from done.

I agree with TWD - it's amazing the difference a backscene can make. It looks good.

Like that, layout and backscene blend very nicely, looks really natural, excellent job.

Ditto to all that. The retaining wall adds drama to the scene

Thank you all for your kind comments, I do have a few air bubbles that have appeared since I pasted up the back-scenes which will need addressing ,you can only see them when the sun light catches them at certain times of the day. Maybe I should only do trains on rainy days

. I am pleased with the fencing so I have ordered some more to place on the layout.

I have put some bushes and a tree along the fencing to get an idea what it will look like, not fixed or permanently glued down yet as I tend to make up bits on the bench and just balance them in place, I only glue them down when I am sure they look ok. You can see from the wonky light on the wall that it still needs a permanent fix from months ago.l had to change one of the lights which stopped working and I know if I glue them all in place ‘‘tis Sod’s law another one will give up.
