I have built this coaling stage out of balsa. When I first built it the sides were too high and of different lengths to make it look a bit worn out. Unfortunately it looked like it should have been manned by the 7th Cavalry againt an Apache attack.

Thank you Roger. Nothing anywhere else except track. The backscene is what was already there.

That really does look good - I did initially think you had been raiding the coffee stirrer shop again
I bought some balsa wood from Hobby Craft a little while ago - I needed a bank loan. When I was a lad a sheet of 1/8th balsa 3ft x 3" cost about 10p - well the equivalent.

I bought a bundle of assorted sheets from a dealer at a RC aircraft show a couple of years ago for a couple of quid. Thought I’d better use it.
