This was the "scene" before the scene behind the car park exit/entrance was changed.

This was the scene after the change. I think in this scene, the scene behind the portal is too bright. The tone of the first picture looks better, but needs a better road layout. I still need to get the ground colour of the car park the same leading right up to the portal. I will also get rid of the graffiti on the walls - it's to small.

That is coming together very nicely - I especially like the bushes behind the buffers and under the bridge.

I am entirely with you that the tone of the first picture looks much better in respect to the road arches and would imagine this blending well if the car park surface in front was a similar shade ( or vice versa).

A lot of thought and work has gone into a small space but you can see the quality of the effect as it finally comes together.

I googled ‘country road’ to see if there were any alternative pictures.................top suggestion was a John Denver album cover.

Richard - I need to do some tidying up and finishing off the small details - I cannot find the paint that I originally covered the car park with, and I will look at some pictures for the portals.
Steve - if you Google image - "looking out from under an old railway bridge" there are hundreds of pictures - and if you add plate girder bridge to your description there are another hundred. I'll find the right one eventually - I'm having problems with my printer at the moment, so it takes ages.

Barry have you considered closing the car park entrance is quite narrow.

You can get a Land Rover through it .

Put signs up saying closed for resurfacing then park lorries in front of the entrances

Lovely modelling and attention to detail. Inspirational stuff! In terms of preference, the muted colours in the first scene do it for me.
