Minus 8.5 over night, minus 6.3 at 7 o'clock this morning (according to my thermometer - probably not truly accurate) No sign of snow still and once again bright & sunny. :D Plus 1.8 degrees ATM.

You may have noticed that it was a bit stormy last night. Fortunately there was no damage done around here.
However, a couple of years ago I bought the memsahib a small temporary greenhouse (I know how to show a girl a good time :D ).
This morning the frame is still standing but the plastic covering is now halfway to Denmark.
"Not very stable, but incredibly versatile." ;)

Our carefully secured plastic covered super cloche - swmbo calls it a green house - decided it would shed its earthly bonds and make a bid for freedom on Sunday. We (the dogs) heard the clatter, so it was held fast, disconnected from the remaining tethers and fetched indoors for the night.
A fresh set of eyes in the light of a calm day yesterday has it more firmly secured and we await tonight and the next couple of days to see if picketing theory matches picketing practice.
